CHEESE APPETIZERS

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup soft bread crumbs
• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 egg yolk
• 1/4 tsp prepared mustard
• Salt and cayenne pepper to taste
• 1 egg white, stiffly beaten
• 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs

Instructions:

1. Mix soft bread crumbs, cheese, egg yolk, mustard, and seasonings.
2. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg white.
3. Shape into balls the size of a walnut.
4. Roll balls in dry bread crumbs.
5. Fry in deep fat until golden brown.
6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
