PINEAPPLE BANANA GELATIN SALAD

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve Jello in boiling water and let cool.
  2. Add pineapple (saving 1 cup juice), 7-Up, bananas, and marshmallows.
  3. Pour into a 9x13-inch pan and refrigerate until set.
  4. For Topping:
  5. Combine sugar, flour, eggs, butter, and pineapple juice in a saucepan. Cook until thickened, about 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  6. Whip cream and fold into the cooled custard. Spread over the set gelatin base.
  7. Top with additional whipped cream or Cool Whip before serving.
