1 medium head cabbage, cut up and cooked in salted water until tender
Paprika and Parmesan cheese (for topping)
Cheese Sauce:
4 tbsp oleo (or butter)
4 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
1–2 cups Velveeta cheese, cubed
Croutons:
1 stick oleo (or butter)
2 cups bread cubes
Instructions:
Drain cooked cabbage and place in a 13x9-inch casserole dish.
Melt oleo, add flour, and blend. Slowly add milk and cook over medium heat until thickened. Stir in Velveeta cheese until the sauce is smooth. Pour over cabbage.
For croutons, melt oleo and stir in bread cubes until fully coated. Place croutons on top of the cheese sauce.
Sprinkle with paprika and Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
