BRAN MUFFINS

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, cream oleo and sugar. Add eggs and beat well.
  2. Stir in buttermilk, raisins, flour, soda, salt, and half the bran. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in lukewarm water and the remaining bran.
  4. Store mixture in wide-mouth jars, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
  5. Spoon batter into muffin pans and bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes.
