MOCK APPLE PIE

Instructions:

  1. Boil sugar, cream of tartar, and water together.
  2. Add crackers to the boiling mixture and boil for 10 minutes without stirring.
  3. Remove from heat and stir once.
  4. Pour into an unbaked pie shell, dot with butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with a top crust.
  5. Bake at 350°F until crust is golden brown.
