UPSIDE DOWN PIE

Instructions:

  1. Combine flour, salt, and cinnamon. Add milk and mix until blended. Divide dough into 2 balls. Roll out for bottom and top crusts.
  2. In the pie pan, spread brown sugar, melted butter, and corn syrup; arrange pecans over the mixture. Cover with the bottom crust.
  3. Combine sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Arrange apple slices in the crust and sprinkle with the sugar mixture.
  4. Cover with the top crust, seal, and flute edges.
  5. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes, then at 350°F for 30–35 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly, then invert onto a serving plate.
