TURTLE CAKE

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  2. Pour half of the prepared cake batter into the pan and bake for 25 minutes.
  3. Melt caramels with evaporated milk in a double boiler.
  4. Pour melted caramel mixture over the partially baked cake.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over the caramel.
  6. Spread the remaining cake batter on top and bake for 20 more minutes.
  7. Serve with Cool Whip, if desired.
