CHRISTMAS SUGAR COOKIES

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture. If sticky, add more flour.
  4. Roll dough to ¼-inch thickness on a floured surface. Cut into shapes.
  5. Decorate if desired. Bake on an ungreased sheet for 8 minutes. Cool on racks. Makes about 100 cookies.
