  1. Cream margarine and cream cheese with a mixer until smooth.
  2. Add sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla; beat well.
  3. Gradually incorporate flour into the dough. Chill for several hours or overnight.
  4. Roll out on a lightly floured board and cut into shapes.
  5. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes. Avoid overbaking.
  7. Frost and decorate as desired.
