CHOCOLATE REVEL BARS

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  2. Stir in flour, soda, salt, and oatmeal. Set aside.
  3. For filling, melt chocolate chips, condensed milk, butter, and salt in a double boiler. Stir until smooth, then add nuts and vanilla.
  4. Spread 2/3 of the oatmeal mixture into a greased 13x9-inch pan. Cover with chocolate filling. Dot with the remaining oatmeal mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
