CARAMEL BROWNIES

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  2. Combine cake mix, nuts, margarine, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Batter will be stiff.
  3. Spread half the batter in the pan and bake for 12 minutes.
  4. Melt caramels with 1/2 cup evaporated milk in a double boiler.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the baked layer. Pour caramel mixture on top and swirl together.
  6. Drop remaining batter by teaspoonfuls over caramel and chocolate.
  7. Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.
