CUSTARD

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat milk until hot but not boiling.
  3. In a bowl, mix sugar, beaten eggs, and salt. Gradually pour hot milk into the mixture, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour mixture into 6 custard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  5. Place custard cups in a 9x13-inch pan filled halfway with water.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
