  1. Dissolve gelatin and marshmallows in boiling water. Add reserved pineapple syrup. Chill until almost thickened.
  2. Whip the mixture and fold in pineapple, whipped cream, and cake cubes.
  3. Pour into a 10-inch tube pan or 3-quart ring mold. Chill until firm.
