Instructions:

  1. Cut brisket into 1/8 inch slices.
  2. Marinate brisket slices in soy sauce, water, garlic salt, oregano, lemon pepper, and liquid smoke for 1 to 3 days, turning slices every 12 hours.
  3. Arrange slices on a cookie sheet in single layers.
  4. Place in a 150-degree oven and cook for about 5 hours.
  5. Sprinkle pepper on both sides while cooking and turn brisket over.
  6. Cook for another 5 hours.
  7. Store in the refrigerator.
