CRANBERRY ORANGE BREAD

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar.
  2. Add juice and rind of the orange, butter, and enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup.
  3. Stir in the beaten egg.
  4. Add chopped nuts and raw cranberries to the mixture.
  5. Let the batter set in pans for 1/2 hour before baking.
  6. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
