ORANGE RAISIN BREAD

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine raisins and water; bring to a boil. Cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix egg, liquid brown sugar, oil, vanilla, and orange peel. Add the raisin mixture and stir.
  3. In another bowl, stir flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together. Add to liquid ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325°F - 350°F for 1 hour or until a tester comes out clean.
  5. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Turn out and cool completely.
  6. Spread the top with Brown Sugar Glaze.
