Instructions:

  1. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in 1 cup warm water.
  2. Add the remaining warm water, flour, and salt. Beat until smooth.
  3. Let the dough set for several hours before using. Store in the refrigerator.
  4. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle poppy seeds over them.
  5. Bake at 450°F until brown, about 10 minutes.
