BEEF A LA STROGANOFF

Instructions:

  1. Cut the beef across the grain into small strips.
  2. Cook slowly in butter for 15 minutes.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from the pan.
  4. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in the pan, add flour, and mix well.
  5. Stir in sour cream and return the beef and mushrooms to the pan.
  6. Cook for an additional 10 minutes. Season with salt and paprika.
  7. Serve plain or on toasted biscuits, cut in half.
