  1. Cut steaks into 6 serving-sized pieces. Mix flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge meat in seasoned flour and pound.
  2. Combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and basil leaves.
  3. Dip meat pieces in the egg and water mixture, then dredge in the crumb mixture, coating evenly.
  4. Brown in oil and place in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  5. Combine tomato sauce, garlic, sugar, and oregano. Pour over the meat.
  6. Cover tightly with foil and cook at 350°F for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until tender.
  7. Place a slice of Mozzarella cheese on each piece of meat and bake for 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts. Serve with sauce.
