CABBAGE ROLLS

Instructions:

  1. Core the cabbage and cook in a large pot until the leaves pull apart and are soft enough to roll.
  2. Trim the vein off each leaf for easier rolling.
  3. In a bowl, mix hamburger, uncooked rice, diced onion, salt, and chili powder.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
  5. Place rolls in a baking dish, cover with tomato sauce, and season with chili powder.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours or until the rice and meat are thoroughly cooked.
