  1. Sauté the minced onion in a small amount of butter or margarine.
  2. Add the ground beef and brown.
  3. Blend in the flour and add the mushrooms. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and season with garlic salt, regular salt, and pepper.
  6. Sprinkle with snipped parsley and serve over rice or small egg noodles.
