  1. Brown the hamburger and onion in a skillet with a small amount of fat.
  2. Add seasonings, mushrooms, and flour; mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in the cream of chicken soup and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the sour cream and sherry; cook slowly for another 10 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice, noodles, or toast. Serves 6.
