  1. Simmer the meat and bacon together for 2-3 hours until tender.
  2. Add tomatoes, salt, red and black pepper, sugar, and chopped onions. Simmer until well blended.
  3. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions; drain.
  4. Grease a casserole dish. Layer spaghetti, meat mixture, and tomato paste, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
  5. Top with Cheddar cheese and bake at 350°F until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
