BARBECUE SHORT RIBS

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown the short ribs in shortening in a Dutch oven or casserole.
  3. In a saucepan, combine Dr. Pepper, catsup, vinegar, salt, pepper, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Bring to a boil.
  4. Pour the sauce over the browned ribs.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 2 hours, turning the ribs once or twice during cooking, until tender.
