SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook noodles in salted boiling water, rinse, and drain.
  2. In a skillet, brown beef in butter. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onions, and noodles.
  4. In a 2-quart casserole, layer noodle mixture and meat mixture, starting with noodles and ending with meat.
  5. Top with Cheddar cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
