STUFFED GREEN PEPPER

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Boil salted water and cook cleaned green peppers for 5 minutes; drain.
  3. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in salt, garlic salt, rice, and 1 cup tomato sauce. Heat through.
  5. Stuff peppers with the meat mixture. Place in an ungreased baking dish.
  6. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
  7. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer.
