HERBED TURKEY ROAST

  1. Preheat the oven and bake the turkey roast according to package directions.
  2. Before roasting, mix wine (or apple juice), salt, pepper, sage, and thyme, and pour over the roast. Baste occasionally while cooking.
  3. Once done, remove the roast and keep warm. Skim fat from the pan drippings and measure 1 cup of broth.
  4. In a jar, shake water and flour until smooth. Stir the mixture into the broth.
  5. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, and boil for 1 minute to thicken.
  6. Serve the gravy with the turkey roast.
