SALMON PATTIES

Instructions:

  1. Drain the salmon and reserve 2 Tbsp of the juice.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the salmon, egg, and onion, mixing until sticky.
  3. Stir in the flour.
  4. Mix baking powder with the reserved salmon juice and add to the salmon mixture.
  5. Form the mixture into small patties.
  6. Heat Crisco in a skillet and fry patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve with tartar sauce or Caesar salad dressing.
