BOTTOMS UP CAKE

Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Spread frosting into the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle nuts over frosting.
  3. In a large bowl, blend cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until moistened.
  4. Beat for 2 minutes at the highest speed.
  5. Pour batter over frosting in the pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Immediately invert pan onto a serving plate. Serve warm or cool.
  8. High Altitude Adjustment:
  9. Above 3,500 feet, add 1/4 cup flour to the dry cake mix and increase water to 1 1/3 cups. Bake at 375 degrees for 40–45 minutes.
