CARAMEL COCONUT CAKE RING

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom of a 9-inch ring mold.
  2. Combine butter, water, and brown sugar. Spread in the bottom of the mold and sprinkle with coconut.
  3. Prepare cake mix as directed on the package. Pour half of the batter over the coconut.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Loosen cake around edges, invert on a cake plate, and let stand for 1 minute before removing the pan.
  6. Let the cake cool.
  7. To serve, fill the center of the cake with fresh fruits and whipped cream or spoonfuls of ice cream.
