COOKIE SHEET CAKE

  1. Sift flour and sugar together.
  2. In a saucepan, combine oleo, Crisco, cocoa, and water. Bring to a boil and pour over the flour and sugar mixture. Mix well.
  3. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda, and cinnamon. Mix well.
  4. Pour into a greased and floured 16 x 11-inch pan (cookie sheet with sides or jelly roll pan).
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  6. To Make Icing:
  7. Melt oleo and mix with cocoa and milk.
  8. Pour over powdered sugar. Beat and add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts.
  9. Spread on the hot cake.
