DUMP CAKE

Ingredients:

• 1 large can crushed pineapple
• 1 pkg. white cake mix
• 1 large can cherry or strawberry pie filling
• Thin slices of oleo (butter) for topping
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
2. Pour crushed pineapple into the prepared pan.
3. Spread the white cake mix over the pineapple.
4. Pour cherry or strawberry pie filling over the cake mix.
5. Place thin slices of oleo over the top of the cake mix.
6. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
7. Bake for about 50 minutes.
