PRUNE CAKE

Ingredients:

• 2 cups sifted flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 tsp. cloves
• 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 cup salad oil
• 1 cup sour milk
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 cup cooked, pitted prunes

Instructions:

1. Sift dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
2. Add oil and mix well with a blender.
3. Add remaining ingredients in the order listed, blending after each addition.
4. Stir in prunes and nuts.
5. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
6. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour.
