HUNGARIAN ROLLS

Instructions:

  1. Sift flour and add salt; crumble yeast into flour, then cut in margarine.
  2. Add beaten egg yolks and stir in sour cream and vanilla.
  3. Chill while preparing filling.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff; gradually add sugar, then pecans and vanilla.
  5. Divide dough into 8 parts and roll out; cut each into 8 wedges.
  6. Place 1 tsp. filling on each wedge and roll to the center.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 15–18 minutes.
  8. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
