COCKTAIL TORTE

Ingredients:

• 1 beaten egg
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 can fruit cocktail
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts (for topping)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Combine flour and sugar; add egg, fruit cocktail, baking soda, and salt.
3. Pour batter into a greased 9x9 inch pan.
4. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts on top.
5. Bake for 1 hour. Top with whipped cream before serving.
