  1. Bake cake mix in 2 round pans; freeze one layer for future use.
  2. Pack ice cream into a foil-lined bowl and freeze until firm.
  3. Place the cake layer on a foil-lined baking sheet, invert ice cream onto it, and freeze until firm.
  4. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Prepare frosting mix and coat cake and ice cream.
  5. Bake 3–5 minutes until frosting is light brown. Serve immediately.
