BUTTER CRUMB APPLE PIE

Instructions:

  1. Slice apples into a pie plate.
  2. Sprinkle sugar over apples, and dot with butter and cinnamon. Add water.
  3. For the topping, mix flour and brown sugar with butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread crumbs over apples.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, until apples are tender and crumbs are golden brown.
  6. Let cool; can be lifted out like a regular pie slice.
