COCONUT CREAM PIE

Instructions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients; gradually add to hot milk and bring to a boil.
  2. Add a little custard to beaten egg yolks, then return to the pan.
  3. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, add extracts and 1 c. coconut. Cool for 1 hour.
  5. Pour into a baked pie shell and chill for 3 hours. Top with whipped cream.
