Instructions:

  1. Remove pits and cut plums into quarters.
  2. Mix plums with sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Place mixture in an unbaked pie shell.
  4. For topping, cut butter into flour, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle topping over plums.
  6. Bake at 425 degrees F. for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
