Instructions:

  1. Combine sugar, water, and syrup in a pan over medium heat and stir until boiling.
  2. Cover for 3 minutes, then remove the lid and stir in margarine.
  3. Slowly add milk while stirring constantly.
  4. Cook to 241°F, remove from heat, and add salt and vanilla.
  5. Pour into a greased pan and cool. Optionally, dip in chocolate or wrap.
