CARROTS AU GRATIN

Instructions:

  1. Cook carrots in boiling salted water for 10 minutes or until tender.
  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  3. Combine cracker crumbs, onion salt, green pepper, and pepper.
  4. Alternate layers of carrots and crumb mixture in a greased 1 qt. baking dish.
  5. Spoon any remaining carrot liquid over the top.
  6. Pour melted butter over everything and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cheese melts.
