CARROT CASSEROLE

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Cook carrots until tender and drain.
  2. Chop onion and cook in margarine until soft but not browned.
  3. Mix flour and milk, stirring until smooth. Add mustard, salts, and pepper.
  4. In a 2 or 3 qt. casserole dish, mix onions with carrots.
  5. Use half of the carrot mixture for the bottom layer and top with half the cheese.
  6. Add the remaining carrots and the rest of the cheese.
  7. Pour the milk sauce over everything.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
