CELERY WITH WINE

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Cut leaves and wash for soup bouquets. Scrape off the strings and cut celery into pieces.
  2. Place in a kettle and cover with meat stock or water.
  3. Add salt and sugar, and cook until tender (about 15 minutes).
  4. Heat butter, add flour, and when blended, add wine.
  5. Pour over cooked celery and bring to a boil.
