  1. Scald milk, then stir in sugar, salt, and oleo. Let cool to lukewarm.
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  3. Combine milk mixture, eggs, yeast, and half the flour. Beat until smooth.
  4. Gradually add enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead for 8 minutes.
  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch dough down, turn out onto a lightly floured surface, and it's ready for use in cinnamon rolls.
