  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. Spread the melted butter and brown sugar in the pan.
  3. Top with pineapple slices.
  4. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. In another bowl, mix eggs, sugar, pineapple juice, and vanilla. Gradually add the dry mixture and fold in the beaten egg whites.
  6. Pour the batter over the pineapple slices.
  7. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until done.
