SPICE CAKE

Ingredients:

• 1 cup Milk
• ½ cup Crisco
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 2 ½ cups Flour
• 1 tbsp Baking Powder
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 ½ cups Sugar
• 1 tsp Cinnamon
• ¼ tsp Allspice
• ¼ tsp Cloves
• ¼ tsp Nutmeg
• 2 Eggs (unbeaten)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 8-inch layer pans.
2. Cream 2 tbsp of milk with Crisco and vanilla until light and fluffy.
3. Sift together dry ingredients and add to the Crisco mixture along with the remaining milk. Beat until smooth.
4. Add eggs and beat again.
5. Pour batter into greased pans and bake for 35 minutes.
