TOMATO SOUP CAKE

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar, then add well-beaten eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture.
  5. Add the can of tomato soup and mix well.
  6. Pour into a greased pan and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Frost with chocolate frosting if desired.
