PEANUT BUTTER CRISSCROSSES

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cream together shortening, sugars, and vanilla.
  3. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Stir in peanut butter.
  4. Sift dry ingredients and stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Form into tiny balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with the back of a fork to make crisscross patterns.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen.
