SHORTBREAD COOKIES

Instructions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla and flour, and mix to form a soft dough.
  3. Chill dough overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  5. Roll thin or slice dough and place on an ungreased pan.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Makes about 3 dozen.
