ROCKY ROAD COOKIES

Instructions:

  1. Melt ½ cup chocolate chips and butter over low heat, then cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  3. In a bowl, mix remaining chocolate chips, eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla, and the cooled chocolate mixture.
  4. Drop by teaspoon onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Press a marshmallow into the center of each cookie (optional).
  6. Bake for 8 minutes or until almost no imprint remains when touched with a finger.
